Maintenance of teak Gardenfurniture

Outdoor furniture:
If you do not treat your teak garden furniture, it will discolour from golden brown to silver grey. Through the reaction of sunlight (UV), oxygen and teak, which is calcareous, teak garden furniture will become grey. This is a natural reaction and does not affect the lifespan of the teak.
If you do not treat your furniture the silver grey colour can change to dark grey with a green appearance. You can choose to maintain this natural development or you can choose to let the teak be honey brown or patina grey.

If your table has become grey:
Clean your table with soft soap, soda or with a teak cleaner.
If the teak is rough and weathered, you can sand the surface lightly with sandpaper.
